Full Day Tour to the Ballestas Islands, Ica Desert and Huacachina Oasis We will begin the full-day tour to the Ballestas Islands early in the morning, picking you up at your hotel between 4:30 and 5:00 am, depending on your location. Once aboard our private transportation, we will head south to the impressive Ica Desert, the largest desert in Peru. Discover the Bay of Paracas and the Ballestas Islands Upon arriving at Paracas Bay, we will begin an unforgettable excursion to the Ballestas Islands aboard a motor boat. During the tour, you will be able to see the Candelabrum, a huge and enigmatic geoglyph engraved in the desert hills. Around the Ballestas Islands, you will enjoy incredible wildlife in their natural habitat: Sea lions playing in the water and approaching the boats, a spectacle that alone justifies the visit. Humboldt penguins, unique in the region. A variety of guano birds and other marine species. We will also pass through the guano exploitation area, adding a cultural and historical aspect to this fascinating natural excursion. Ica Desert: Culture and Gastronomy We will continue our trip to the province of Ica, where you will have the opportunity to learn about the culture of the Ica Desert and enjoy a delicious typical Peruvian lunch. Adventure in the Huacachina Oasis After lunch, we will head to the iconic Huacachina Oasis, a picturesque natural lagoon surrounded by huge sand dunes. An exciting adventure awaits you here: Live the adrenaline with a ride in tubular cars (dune buggies). Try sandboarding, sliding down the dunes on a board for a unique experience. Afterwards, you will have free time to: Walk through the Huacachina Oasis. Take a boat ride through the lagoon. Capture stunning photographs of this desert paradise. Buy souvenirs or handmade crafts at local markets. Return to Lima Finally, we will end this incredible day trip from Lima with many memories and photographs. Our private transportation will take you back to Lima, arriving between 9:00 pm and 10:00 pm.
