General description
Inca Trail to Machu Picchu 2D/1N
Short Inca Trail to Machu Picchu 2 Days / 1 Night Experience the magic of the Inca Trail on this 2-day, 1-night trek to Machu Picchu. It is an ideal option if you want to travel an authentic section of the Qhapaq Ñan without the requirement of the four-day classic. The first day you start at Km 104 Chachabamba, follow the original Inca Trail to Wiñay Wayna—terraces, sacred fountains and subtropical vegetation—and continue to Inti Punku for the first panoramic view of the citadel. Overnight stays in a hotel in Aguas Calientes. The second day is dedicated to Machu Picchu: entrance according to the contracted circuit, guided tour of the main sectors and free time before returning by train to Ollantaytambo and transfer to Cusco. At Cusco Mio we operate this experience with official permits, railway logistics and professional accompaniment.
